

Client: China Tours (Tour Operator)
Communication goal: Presentation of a new round trip in southern China in major daily newspapers. Positioning of the tour operator as THE specialist for the region. Establishing contacts to Travel-writers of leading regional and national media.
Communication measures: Organising a media fam-trip in collaboration with partners (airlines, hotels). There has been an overwhelming response from the media. Participants include (among others) national newspapers: Die Welt, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung and Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung. The group was accompanied by China Tours CEO Liu Guosheng which guaranteed a maximum of authenticity and information.
Results: The results were outstanding in both quality and quantity. The features reached a total distribution of more than 4 million copies and approx. 12.5 million readers. The costs of the project could be minimized by collaboration with industry partners.
